I'd love to see this merged. It fixes my problem using palli-createrepo version 3.0.0.

Could not retrieve catalog from remote server: Error 500 on SERVER: Server Error: Evaluation Error: Error while evaluating a Resource Statement, Evaluation Error: Unknown function: 'validate_absolute_path'. (file: /etc/puppetlabs/code/environments/test/modules/createrepo/manifests/init.pp, line: 154, column: 5)
